Functional Title - Specialist, Strategic Planning

BNY Mellon Issuer Services provides world-class servicing for two sides of clients' financing needs: debt and equity. It combines our leading Corporate Trust and Depositary Receipts businesses to offer both issuers and investors more comprehensive and flexible options.

Issuer Services Technology comprised of Corporate Trust and Depositary Receipt businesses which provide world-class equity and debt servicing. Corporate Trust technology is responsible for providing development, maintenance and risk management services for the portfolio of proprietary and third-party applications sued to support the $1.4B Corporate Trust business. Depositary Receipts technology provides a broad spectrum of intranet-based technology supporting the Depositary Receipt business division.

Role Description :
  • Strategic Planning - IC2Supports the research, collection and assessment of data/information in order to develop hypotheses that support basic business initiatives/issues.
  • Uses analyses to develop recommendations/solutions that can be implemented and measured.
  • May support the implementation of recommended actions.
  • Identifies, assesses and solves for business initiatives for area of responsibility.
  • Leverages research to develop recommendations that address issues and are aligned to key growth objectives.
  • Applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas across disciplines collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving project objectives.
  • May support implementation of a recommended action.
  • Takes on a leadership role across multiple disciplines by serving as the central point of coordination and control in a project to ensure cross-business collaboration.
  • Tracks project team activities and deliverables and applies strategic business concepts to ensure alignment of strategy and project execution.
  • No direct reports.
  • Contributes to the achievement of related teams objectives.
Requirement:
  • Bachelors degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred.
