We're seeking a future team member in the role of Specialist, Full-Stack Developer to join our PERSHING team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL OR Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.

This role is for the technical implementation needs of the NetX360+ - Portal POD. The Portal POD develops portal level solutions for the NetX360+ application, provides design and architectural guidance to PODs in the NXP ART and other Pershing PODs in other ARTs. There is no development support currently for the features implemented by this POD and poses a risk to support a flagship PBS application during business hours. Filling this role will allow to mitigate the risk and improve the turnaround time of support to teams looking for NetX360+ portal level architecture, design and application guidance.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Provides application software development services or technical support.
  • Understands and follows the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Writes new programs, working with standard application system designs and specifications and utilizing standard procedures and techniques.
  • Designs and codes programs.
  • Understands and adheres to secure coding guidelines and quality standards established within the organization.
  • Prepares and executes test cases and revises programs as necessary.
  • Documents installation and operating procedures.
  • Interfaces with architects to design, code, test and implement application programs.
  • Proposes innovative, creative technology solutions. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Strong experience with JavaScript/Typescript, Angular, Material , HTML and CSS
  • Strong experience in Java, Spring, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST API, XML/XSL
  • Experience with Microservices based architecture and familiarity with Micro front ends and Module federation.
  • SQL skills with experience in Oracle
  • Experience with unit testing tools like Jasmine, Karma, Junit, Mockito
  • Experience in browser development tools to troubleshoot and analyze application performance.
  • Experience working with n-tier applications using distributed technologies.
  • Familiarity with Tomcat
  • Experience using source code management tools like Gitlab/Git, MAVEN, Jenkins
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD automation
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Experience with IDE tools like Visual Source Code, IntelliJ, Eclipse
  • Knowledge of Docker and applications operating in containerized infrastructure
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace or AppDynamics
  • Knowledge utilizing Middleware & Enterprise Messaging Systems such as MQ.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 5-7 years of experience in software development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
