We're seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist - Client Service to join our Asset Servicing Global Client Coverage team. This role is located in Pune, MH - Hybrid.

Shift Timings: EMEA (13:00 IST)

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • The incumbent's main responsibility as a member of the validation team is to confirm that interest rates in client accounts are correct and supported by the appropriate documentation that evidences the agreed upon rates were disclosed to the Client in a durable format (i.e., client contract, fee schedule, addendum, side letter or other documentation).
  • Integral role in the timely set up of client accounts.
  • Coordinates with client facing teams and Relationship Manager to ensure necessary client documentation is in place and uploaded in system to be uplifted to the regional repository.
  • Implementing laid-down controls to ensure adequate audit trail of verification of rates is maintained (for compliance, risk, audit reviews).
  • Responsible for validating the accuracy of account types and interest rates to ensure account set-up is consistent with client agreements.
  • Participate and contribute to system testing right from ground zero to ensure the developments are done basis the approved BRDs (Business Risk Document).
  • Build and maintain amicable working relationships and sharing best practices with other Lines of Businesses like Operations, Audit, Compliance and Regulatory and Technology to ensure flawless service delivery.
  • Create regular MIS (daily, weekly, monthly) for senior leadership and participate in regular presentations.
  • Highlight and Raise Defect on expected tools/platforms and communicate effectively with technical and business staff.
  • General administration tasks like maintaining required trackers, mailbox management, etc.
  • This role requires ability to read client contracts and identify relevant sections related to interest rate agreements. General awareness of negative interest rate regime is preferred.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 8-12 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
  • Knowledge and Experience in recordkeeping and understanding of client contracts would be plus.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is a must.
