We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Enterprise Sourcing Office to join our Enterprise Sourcing Office team. This role is located in Manchester, Hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the EMEA labour market including an extensive understanding of legal and commercial terms. Successful candidate will ensure optimization of the Vendor Management System (VMS) in the EMEA region and support development of global best practices, reporting into the Head of Contingent Workforce. This position will oversee and be accountable for the successful performance of our Contingent Workforce program and the Suppliers participating in the program. This will include the day-to-day operations, program management and care of our VMS relationship and partners.
  • Implement preferred program for contingent workforce across the EMEA region including the development of sourcing and contracting strategies to realize efficiencies and achieve business transformation objectives aligned to the Category Strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance related to contract labour
  • System implementation and/or change management experience.
  • Set up regular meetings with key partners to review and prioritize deal pipeline and identify engagement opportunities
  • Review and negotiate complex supplier contracts across these engagement
  • Perform deep dive spend analysis to identify, assess and implement cost savings opportunities including issuance of RFPs and events, supplier consolidation, commercial negotiations (volume discounts/ price reductions).
  • Lead and negotiate highly complex contract negotiations with deep understanding of supplier commercials, and other complex contract issues including MSAs, SOW, Outsourcing Agreements, Terminations and NDAs
  • Ability to effectively leverage influencing skills and implement processes to drive change in purchasing behaviours with measurable outcomes (expense reduction)
  • Lead and manage the lifecycle of RFI/RFQ/RFPs which include the creation and facilitation of the entire process through supplier evaluations and selection.
  • Respond to sourcing team asks including review of existing contracts and vendor relationships
  • Develop and maintain category knowledge
  • Support Ad hoc expense management initiatives
  • Cooperate with internal LOB's / stakeholders to align to BNYM category strategy to drive engagements that meet compliance, quality, and cost outcomes for the LOB.
  • Other duties as may be required
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Business or Supply Chain Degree
  • Relevant years of total work experience with focus in Supply Chain and/or related organizations with deep experience in strategic sourcing with a focus on Professional Services maintained in a Vendor Management System.
  • This person will have strong financial acumen and experience in total cost of ownership and other financial decisions approaches
  • Develop, maintain, and implement compliant contingent labour processes to include the selection and usage of independent contractors (ICs).
  • Previous experience with leading large, complex sourcing projects and operations
  • Excellent communicator and seasoned presenter to senior leadership
  • Exceptional Client Relationship Management Skills
  • Proficiency with e-auction tools, S2P tools, excel, word and power point
  • Experience of running RFPs and RFx's with demonstratable results
  • Strong communication, presentation, education, and change management skills with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation
