Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support in New York, NY, to maintain and support moderately complex applications and their operating environments. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Architecting Automation Roadmaps and Monitoring Certification maturity and review configuration and cyber security settings within the network and infrastructure components; providing support in Estate of Multiple Treasury line of Business including Financial Messaging (SWIFT), Payments (Realtime, Instant, Traditional), Payment Processors, Liquidity, Trade, Treasury Edge, Payables & Receivables, and lockbox applications; configuring and NLP scripting security settings by utilizing tools including AppDynamics; developing application stop and start automation for AppEngine services, as well as Linux and Windows servers by utilizing programming languages including Shell scripting and Python; performing failure and impact analyses and developing and implementing solutions that address configuration and automation errors; and developing and performing analyses utilizing tools and programming languages including AppDynamics, Shell Scripting, Python, Oracle, SQL, PL-SQL, uDeploy, and ITRS.
