We're seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Specialist Infrastructure Engineer
to join our Workplace Technology Electronic Communications Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid/Flex)
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design and engineer management automation and systems integration solutions for next generation end-user electronic communications systems aligned with BNY Mellon architecture, development, compliance and security standards.
- Design and code end to end automation processes, routines and scripts to support system maintenance, administration, deployment, monitoring and metrics/reporting of the electronic communications environment
- Creating and maintaining design and as-built drawings/documentation for automation solutions
- Researching new technologies and implementing/evaluating Proof-of-concept and pilot solutions
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience developing/programming scripts to support automation of Microsoft environments including Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
- 5+ years of experience developing/programming scripts to support automation of Microsoft Office365 Exchange Online, Teams and Microsoft Graph
- Demonstrated experience using PowerShell , Python, Perl other scripting languages to solve real-world automation problems in a Microsoft environment. PowerShell experience strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience planning and running small development efforts as a technical lead using a sprint/agile-style.
