The successful candidate will:

We're looking for senior analyst for a Derivatives Reconciliation team based in Manchester, the team covers ETD, Cleared OTC, Bilateral OTC and Collateral recons for a major client. The day-to-day work is a mixture of reconciliations, cash, issue resolution and queries, all of which can differ on a daily basis. A successful candidate would be expected to deal with BAU, authorize other team members work, and contribute towards process improvements and group projects.

The client is very demanding and we're dealing with large amounts of money. We're looking for someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency when prioritizing the variety of work we have. Communication is key, a successful candidate could be expected to deal with client queries or to deal with colleagues who support the client across the globe.

The team is growing, and the successful candidate will be expected to help on-board new work and train new starters to a competent level. The successful candidate would be expected to use their Derivatives knowledge to increase the product knowledge of existing members of the team.

What we are looking for:

Ideally we'd like someone with a financial background and derivatives knowledge. If a prospective candidate doesn't have Derivatives knowledge, we would expect transferable skills, such as someone with a strong reconciliation background or experience in approving others work.
