Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Principal, Strategic Planning in New York, NY to analyze areas of key strategic focus to ensure success of the organization by institutionalizing programs and processes to enhance Enterprise Innovation product offerings and value proposition. Contribute to the development of risk management systems. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or a related quantitative occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Identifying and managing key risks and mitigating as required on legal issues, development risks, and regulatory compliance on build out; Developing business cases for prioritization using rubric scoring system to rank each scenario against ROI, costs, and risk categories; Assessing budgetary & financial impacts and conducting risk weighting of expenses by calculating return on capital using IRR; Evaluating and executing Proof of Concepts (POC's) with fintechs and startups in Financial Services and High-Tech industry; Conducting competitive analysis by utilizing corporate strategy experience including new innovative program development, strategic investment opportunity, target operating model design and organizational structure design; and Developing scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget and timing for strategic enterprise initiatives . The employer will accept three years of university-level studies plus two years of experience in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Thirty percent (30%) travel required, domestic and international. Salary range : $216,000.00 to $225,000.00 per year.
