We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Marketing Manager to join our Investment Management Distribution team. This role is located in NYC, ans is a HYBRID role, with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Being part of a team focused on our BNY Mellon Investment Management brand, this position will collaborate with the various teams throughout our North American distribution team to create and deliver campaign communications along with additional omni channel field marketing initiatives.
  • Leads the planning and execution for a primary marketing function in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives through Strategic Accounts Tier I clients as well as various other channels. Supports North America business goals in addition to day-to-day support of brand awareness, client acquisition, and employee engagement. Applies exceptional writing and communications skills.
  • Establishes collaborative relationships with multiple business stakeholders and external partners to align activities to key strategic objectives.
  • Develops and manages annual planning process and results reporting to primary business stakeholders. Influences necessary resources. Involves others in decision making to secure buy in. Actively seeks input to make timely and well informed decisions. Considers all relevant factors and develops organic growth sale support initiatives.
  • Subject matter expert. Active participation within organization and industry-hosted events. Studies the competition and communicates across business unit and with clients.
  • Ensures standard operating procedures and policies are being adheres. Challenges the status quo to raise standards and common practices. Encourages diverse thinking to promote and nurture innovation.
  • Promotes a sense of urgency and establishes individual accountability supporting functional or business initiatives. Persists in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles.
  • Has dotted line reports, provides guidance to less experienced staff. Leads projects to include delegating appropriate activities to junior staff and monitoring quality and completion.
  • Develops, monitors, and optimizes budgets. Manages financial resources (e.g., budgets for campaigns and Tier I firm marketing, expenses, etc.).
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • 10+ years of investment/asset management experience.
BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $90,500 and $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
