We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Service Management - to join our Technology Services Group team. This role is located in Wrocław, Hybrid.

Technology Services Group (TSG) is the technology enabler for our firm. Our services provide a strong, resilient, and stable platform to host business processes while enabling innovation

Our Technology Production Services team is dedicated to ensuring that our technology environments are best in class. We run the systems that keep BNY Mellon running. Our mission is to deliver a full IT service management lifecycle across all run-the-bank applications and infrastructure support with the purpose of providing a controlled, secure, and predictable production environment.

Service Management is responsible for proactive governance, control and continuous improvement of the Production Services Operating model, underlying IT operational processes and supporting tools to ensure optimal and effective service delivery, production stability and regulatory compliance.

Reporting and analysis of performance metrics to drive service delivery quality, mature capabilities that are common across processes and ensure that the processes are integrated to yield efficiencies and improvements that contribute to a more stable production environment

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Act as a strategic partner between the Business / Tech stakeholders and reporting team to devise solutions to enhance reporting and data management
  • Perform data mapping analysis to understand the availability and quality of data
  • Ensure that quality, completeness, security, privacy, and integrity of data
  • Analyzing data, with due consideration for the influence of missing information, outliers, plus confounding and extraneous variables
  • Report on production stability and provide analysis for any variances observed
  • Create risk and compliance reports to support various regulatory and control requirements
  • Leverage data insights to identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Production Services organization. Cross collaborate as needed to drive initiatives to completion
  • Fielding ad-hoc questions on reports from regulators, internal senior risk leaders, and audit partners
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • 5+ years of technology experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science/ Graduate degree in Data Science
  • Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards and helping users understand data and patterns
  • Experience in using business intelligence tools (Tableau, Business Objects)
  • Experience with Databases (Oracle Exadata preferred), Python and R
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and ServiceNow is a plus
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • Positive team player attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
