We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Control Specialist to join our Enterprise Controls Intelligence and Analytics (ECIA) Team . This role is in Pittsburgh PA - Hybrid work model (3 days in office/week)
Enterprise Controls Intelligence and Analytics (ECIA) is a newly formed group under Enterprise Chief Control Office (ECCO). The mandate for the team is to provide data driven solutions to assist the Enterprise-wide first-line of the defense control on Firm exposures. More specifically, provide the Firm's senior managers, Risk control and Finance managers with Enterprise-wide reports on risk exposures resulted from unexpected events.
In this role, you'll make an impact by:
- Developing time-to-market proof of concept or tactical solutions
- Driving strategic solutions with the technology teams for sustainability and scalability
- Managing BAU changes and maintaining the solutions
- Independently exploring and proposing relevant data sets that are required for intelligence generation leveraging advanced data analytics tool sets such as Alteryx, BI tools, and programming languages.
- Quickly understanding the business context and purpose of control intelligence use cases, proposing & applying solutions to those use cases within the architectural design.
- Organizing workshops with key stakeholders and SMEs to explore, discover, challenge, propose clear, solid, and solution-oriented business and data requirements.
- Developing time-to-market control intelligence BI dashboards for use cases prioritized by ECCO
- Consulting, facilitating, and translating data requirements into logical, physical, and semantic layer models across the analytical data environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience with financial data processing and analysis needed
- Past Business Intelligence and hands on rapid report proof of concept development experience preferred
- Ability to leverage analytic tools such as Alteryx and Power BI, and programming languages such as R, Python, SQL are highly preferred
- Knowledge of banking / financial operations is a big plus
- Good communications and inter-personal skills are always preferred
