We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Auditor II to join our Internal Audit Professional Practices Quality Assurance (QA) Team. This position will be located in India (hybrid/remote) .
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Execute Quality Assurance (QA) audit-related activities.
- Contribute as a team member on QA assignments.
- When performing the lead role on an assignment, the individual may occasionally manage others, but will normally be personally involved in all aspects of the day-to-day QA work, including communicating results and developing action plans for improving adherence to methodology .
- Maintain responsibility for the delivery of related metrics and data.
- Ensure QA testing is thorough and accurate, as well as confirming that the audits under review adhere to company policies and procedures, audit methodologies, and all applicable regulations.
- Lead or perform QA fieldwork in accordance with Internal Audit methodologies and standards in order to identify meaningful issues as well as opportunities for improving Internal Audit and QA methodologies.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance. Note: Other subjects may be applicable for specialties with 6 years relevant experience, including proficiency in Internal Audit.
- Relevant work experience including 4-6 years in Internal Audit.
- Certified Internal Auditor and/or Quality Assurance Audit experience.
- Strong English language skills (written and verbal).
- (Preferred) Internal Audit experience in Banking and/or the Financial Services Industry.
- (Preferred) Experience in planning and delivering internal audits following the BNY Mellon Internal Audit Methodology.
