Team Description
BNYM's global Financial Crimes Compliance group is responsible for the Firm wide Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Know Your Customer (KYC)/Customer Due diligence (CDD) and Economics Sanctions Compliance (collectively "FCC") Program. The team provides oversight of the day-to-day and strategic implementation of the Firm's enterprise-wide financial crime prevention efforts. This includes providing the appropriate governance, oversight and execution of the Firm's FCC programs. The FCC Quality Assurance (QA) testing provides confidence that the FCC processes are designed and executed effectively.
The FCC QA Program Specialist reports to the FCC QA Process Methodology D irector
- Contribute to delivery of the FCC QA program governance objectives
- Monitor and maintain FCC QA methodologies, program materials, and documentation
- Assist in maintaining business process alignment across FCC QA and the broader FCC organization
- Support the coordination of process or procedure changes from concept to implementation
- Identifies process efficiencies and assists in ongoing process enhancements
- Tracks, monitors, and reports on QA results for both internal team development purposes and external FCC stakeholder requests
- Identifies process efficiencies and assists in ongoing process enhancements
- Support the FCC QA leadership team in driving execution consistency across all team members
- Develop documentation, communications, and other materials as needed
- Support the response process for audit and regulatory requests as needed
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to understand compliance policies, processes, and procedures.
- Experience building high-quality presentation materials and the ability to deliver complex messaging to various levels within an organization.
- Must have a high degree of attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree or master's degree within Finance/ Operations/ Communication would be preferred; however, we are open to see applications from other studies.
- 7-10 years of total work experience preferred. Financial Services, Audit or Compliance background and/or experience with program governance, project management, or business program management.
