We're seeking a future team member for the role of TREASURY AND ALM PRINCIPAL to join our CORPORATE TREASURY team. This role is located in LONDON (Hybrid).
Job Purpose:
The position of the Treasury and ALM Principal will provide support with the balance sheet management activities in EMEA. The position will work closely with colleagues in the International Treasury team, Finance, Risk and legal entity management teams.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Preparation and coordination of Regional ALCO Packs. Including preparation of ALCO packs, agenda, minute taking, follow up on action points, risk dashboards, etc. This will include gathering all related MI / data and commentary in alignment with the Global ALCO content and format.
- Monitoring of daily internal and external liquidity and capital ratios for legal entities in the region. Analyzing significant daily/ monthly changes to external liquidity/capital ratios (LCR, NSFR, total capital ratio, leverage ratio, Other regulatory liquidity metrics)
- Daily monitoring of Early Warning Indicators (EWIs) for the region, including timely escalation to the Treasury team.
- Perform balance sheet forecasting across multiple entities, including liquidity stress testing forecasting and capital planning.
- Responsible for keeping an up to date tracker of all International Treasury regulatory deliverable and dates (submissions, approvals, etc.)
- Review Liquidity Stress Testing results.
- Preparation of liquidity and Capital metrics and balance sheet commentary for legal entity Boards, Management Committees and branch management committee submissions.
- Support on wider Treasury initiatives, regulatory presentations, training sessions and ad-hoc deliverables.
- Ad-hoc analysis required for ALCO agenda items
- Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent qualification
- Significant years of banking experience with 3+ years in a Treasury or Risk Management function and a strong focus on risk and control environment.
- Superior organisational skills.
- Good project management and report writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
