We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced marketer to join the Solutions Marketing team for BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a Senior Segment Marketing Manager focused on our advice, planning and fiduciary practices across UHNW and institutional clients. The ideal candidate for this role will be dynamic and motivated with a strategic mindset, responsible for developing and executing marketing and investment plans that generate awareness with our clients, creating and managing content strategy across business lines in support of firmwide marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with business partners, using their knowledge and expertise to create impactful marketing campaigns to drive business outcomes. This position reports to the Head of Solutions Marketing. This role is located in New York, NY.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Lead the planning and execution for a primary marketing function in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives and business goals, in addition to day-to-day support of brand awareness, client acquisition, assets under management and client and employee engagement.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with multiple business stakeholders and external partners to align marketing activities to key strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage annual planning process and results reporting to primary business stakeholders. Coordinate the necessary resources and involve key stakeholders in decision making to advance overall strategy.
  • Actively seek input to make timely and well-informed decisions. Consider all relevant factors and make sound decisions.
  • Subject matter expert. Active participation within organization and industry-hosted events. Analyze the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to differentiate the firm and enhance client experience.
  • Implement and ensure standard operating procedures and policies. Challenge the status quo to raise standards and common practices. Encourage diverse thinking to promote and nurture innovation.
  • Promote a sense of urgency and establish individual accountability supporting functional or business initiatives. Persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • 10-12 years of product and/or wealth management marketing experience is preferred; experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Adobe
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a broad spectrum of audiences, including senior management, around key marketing concepts and initiatives
  • Professional presence, strong writing and communications skills
