We're seeking a future team member in the role of Principal, Full-Stack Developer to join our Corporate Engineering team. You will be joining a team of over 700 employees across the globe who support a diverse array of business partners including Finance, Human Resources, Compliance, Regulatory, Employee Experience, Legal and Corporate Security.
This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) and will primarily support the Company's global team of Legal and Corporate Security professionals thought development efforts on our numerous software solutions.
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the technical design, development and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Allocate/coordinate work across a globally distributed development team while working hands-on to deliver Java-based solutions.
- Work on enterprise-wide systems and provide technical solutions to complex business problems
- Must have thorough and demonstrative knowledge of both frontend and backend development patterns including security principles.
- 8+ years Java Development / Spring / Angular experience
- Expertise in developing APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases both relational (Oracle, MSSQL) and non-relational (NoSQL, HBase)
- Angular, Bootstrap, HTML 5, CSS, NodeJS
- Knowledge in various branching/merging methodologies and release procedures.
- Experience with continuous integration build engines, such as Jenkins, Cruise Control, etc.
- Experience with IT automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Experience with container technology such as Docker, and CoreOS RKT (Rocket)
- Knowledge of test case driven development, with experience in test case tools such as Selenium or similar
- Experience working in Agile development models and with tools such as Confluence, JIRA and Kanban.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills. Ability to own problems and solutions.
