Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Principal, Full-Stack Developer in Jersey City, NJ, to consult with internal business groups to provide high‐level application software development services or technical support. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or a related IT occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle and UML design tools ORBUS, VISIO and Enterprise Architect; Developing business solutions by utilizing programming languages including Java, and Linux Bash Scripting, Oracle (ExaData), Elasticsearch, Mongo, and MYSQL databases; Performing web application development using AngularJS, Rxjs, Spring MVC, Spring REST, JDBC Template, Spring Integration, and SPRING BOOT; Using GIT for code repository and CI/CD, Jenkins for application build, and deployment for private cloud; Adopting behavioral-driven testing using Jasmin testing for backend services and Angular Karma for end-to-end testing UI; Utilizing technology audit skills and monitoring applications using APPDynamic and Splunk dashboards, data protection and privacy, defining user entitlements and access groups, and migrating user and report setup from test region to production; and Designing reports for cash, custody, and account transaction data utilizing Community Jasper and Enterprise Jasper with multi-language support, and other configuration-based customizations such us logo, number, and currency formats.
