We're seeking a future team member for the role of Manager, Tax Reporting & Compliance to join our team. This role is located in Wrocław, Poland - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Taking care of Tax Documentation and Reporting, Research on event taxability, Tax Withholding on US Corporate Events, Cost Basis Reporting and Calculation, Tax Reporting, Global Tax Compliance, Tax Certification and Regulatory reporting.
  • Manager ensures that the daily operational tasks and issues, related to regulatory tax data gathering and reporting, are executed accurately and timely.
  • S/he understands the rules, process and specific procedures around the regulatory reporting, with the support of a legal and/or tax service expert.
  • Dealing indirectly with client questions on the regulatory rules, including replying to all types of technical questions.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Tax operations manager will manage team of min. 5tax specialists
  • Tax or financial services experience minimum 5 Years
  • Experience in managing people required min 1 years (e.g as a Team Leader)
  • Fluent English
  • Tax background preferred within financial services (WHT, Tax reclaims etc.).
  • Candidate possesses strong analytical skills and be organized, due to the many regulations and spreadsheets to be updated and monitored.
  • Candidate has the ability to work both independently (full responsibility on validating documents, updating spreadsheets/systems, creating reports) and as part of a team (working with project management and Tax SME on new developments in the regulations).
  • Very good Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge (to work with the many different spreadsheets that are used for tracking purposes).
  • Candidate must be control-oriented and possess analytical skills with the ability to observe a process, identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements and alternatives to improve overall operations.
  • For regulatory reporting it is of the highest importance to be accurate, complete and timely. Any problem that would occur in the process, has to be solved and/or escalated immediately so a solution can be found prior of deadline (extension of deadline is not allowed).
