We're seeking a future team member in the role of Analyst- Middle Office to join our Fund & Client Services team. This role is located in either Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL in a hybrid working environment.

The BNYM Fund & Client Services group is responsible for various functions and deliverables related to SMA and fund activity processing, reporting and invoicing. The team is responsible for processing client instructions related to cash activity and account updates for a top tiered clients Funds and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), and for facilitating account events (i.e. openings/ closings/ complex account events) for both SMAs and Bridgewater Funds. The team is also responsible for Fund and SMA Investor level reporting, for which reports are completed on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually and ad hoc basis. The BNYM FCS team enhances the administrator's reports for SMAs that do not hold fund investments.

Additionally, the team is responsible for facilitating the invoice payment process for the client's Funds. The team receives vendor invoices from the client and processes them to prepare an instruction package that the client then authorizes to send to the appropriate administrators for payment.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Responsible for overseeing quality control of processing, work allocation and workflow of an Investor Services team in accordance with SLD.
  • Reviews and approves work conducted by more junior levels in accordance with function policies and procedures.
  • Performs analysis and research on the most complex transactions and identifies solutions to complex inquiries.
  • Serves as oversight and subject matter expert for of complex functions supporting Fund and Client service activities for funds of moderate complexity.
  • Identifies resolves and escalates any issues that affect the accuracy of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) within the team.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Is able to act as a SME within incident management.
  • Exercises own judgement and collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve reconciliations of accounts for complex or atypical transactions.
  • Will also be responsible for coordinating regulatory reports for client filings..
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelors degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 7-10 years of total relevant work experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel
  • Remain organized and be able to handle multiple priorities, while keeping current on emails
  • Work independently but also be a collaborator.
  • Comfortable asking questions to gain understanding on any area where understanding is limited
