We're seeking a future team member for the role of Manager, Tax reporting & Compliance to join our Global Custody Operations team. This role is located in Pune, MH - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Tax Reporting and Compliance -
  • Provides oversight and sets priorities for teams responsible for preparing and maintaining tax and regulatory records, returns, and reports for internal and/or external clients.
  • Manages the performance of teams and sets priorities.
  • Designs metrics and monitors work output to ensure appropriate process oversight.
  • Oversees allocation of resources across teams and processes for conducting calculations and reporting.
  • Support the coordination of tax-related regulatory filings. Gather required data elements, as needed, for various regulatory filings.
  • Assists in addressing highly complex tax and/or regulatory questions posed.
  • Partners with Corporate Tax to monitor the regulatory landscape.
  • Leads development of resulting recommended process changes.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Manages multiple teams of Tax Reporting and Compliance professionals and support staff.
  • Responsible for the achievement of multiple team goals and objectives, talent management and supervision of team members.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Preferably post graduate/MBA.
  • Good communication and analytical skills is a must
  • The role will require the candidate to review and process tax documents, and co-ordinate for data gathering and reporting.
  • Knowledge of US Tax Regulatory filings.
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of the workings related to US Tax Reporting.
12+ years of total work experience and 4+ years of people management experience necessary.
