We're seeking a future team member for the role of 'Lead Manager, Reconciliation' to join our newly created GIA Recon (Global Institutional Accounting) team.
This role is located in Wrocław, Poland - hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Oversight and leadership over a medium to large reconciliation team with strong focus on timely and accurate delivery to agreed timetables and SLAs whilst ensuring compliance with appropriate reconciliation standards.
- Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contributions, their professional growth and their ability to function with their colleagues as an effective team. Manages the performance and sets area priorities.
- Supports Group Manager to identify and streamline business operations. This includes but is not limited to enhancing controls by standardizing relevant business processes, managing/monitoring those activities to ensure quality and accuracy of data, as well as supporting key business programs which drive greater operational efficiencies and superior client service.
- Partners with supervisors and managers of the other groups in the firm to assess issues and strategize improvements. Supports the development of procedures and processes of the Reconciliation function within the business unit.
- Serves as a high-level escalation point for complex situations and ensure that they are brought to a successful resolution.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills (English min. B2/C1 level).
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum of 5 years of experience within similar area). At least 1 year in management required.
- Previous experience in reconciliation or fund accounting is desirable.
- General knowledge around economy, financial markets and accounting.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, in particular manipulating Excel spreadsheets.
