We're seeking a future team member for the role of Manager, Enterprise ESG to join our People Team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Support the production of the annual Enterprise ESG Report by managing the project timeline, tracking deliverables against deadlines, and communicating with Report Contributors and other stakeholders
  • Assist with the development and submission of ESG performance data and information to key stakeholders and rating and ranking firms such as S&P Global (for DJSI), FTSE4Good and CDP, supporting the collation of responses from SMEs across the company while supporting reviews and approvals
  • Project manage strategic internal and external facing Enterprise ESG initiatives, including execution of the five-pillar climate change strategy, human rights strategy including Modern Slavery Act statements, and development of a focus on nature/biodiversity
  • Manage team internal and external events with associated deliverables such as key initiative status update presentations, speaking engagement presentations, prep calls and submission materials (speaker bios, video clips, etc.) and support scheduling and tracking using tools such as the team calendar
  • Support the strategic direction and collating of information from SMEs for posting on internal Enterprise ESG intranet sites
  • Project manage or otherwise support, as requested, other aspects of strategic execution, reporting, disclosure and stakeholder engagement such as ESG due diligence processes and internal communications
  • Strong project management, organizational and time management skills with an ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, assess status and pivot with alterations in a timely manner
  • Strong writing, proofreading and communication skills
  • Experience working on high profile projects with senior executive participants
  • Ability to influence, motivate and mobilize staff in varied roles across the firm, both ESG and non-ESG, to drive project outcomes
  • Understanding of and experience working with various business functions, specifically government affairs, risk, brand, marketing, human relations, compliance and investor relations
  • Working knowledge of and interest in Enterprise ESG/sustainability disciplines and related policies, trends and advancements as they relate to business
  • General understanding of how the investment community, and other key stakeholders, evaluates and views climate change, nature/biodiversity, human rights and Enterprise ESG performance
  • Existing knowledge of the banking or financial services industry, particularly within an ESG context, preferred
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience with 3-5 years of project, program or event management, preferably 3-5 years in roles focusing on ESG, corporate responsibility and/or sustainability.
