We're seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Quality Engineer to join our Asset Servicing Engineering team. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra / Chennai, Tamil Nadu - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

(6-8) years of related experience is required.

Must be comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and working in a fast-paced environment

Proficient with Object Oriented Programming Languages, Data Structures and Design Patterns - Preferably Java

Knowledge/Experience working in a Linux/Unix based Environment

Proficient in using open-source test automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Test NG.

Proficient in using BDD frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave, and Serenity BDD

Proficient in Testing Automation with Web Apps, APIs, Message Queues, DBs

Good knowledge in Testing Main Frame Systems, Messaging Queues and ETL Systems.

Proficient with monitoring, aggregating, and analyzing Testing Automation Results & Metrics

Proficient with identifying the root cause of the test failures and classifying them at scale

Experience working with DevOps Tools like Git, Jenkins and/or Docker

You are strong in debugging, troubleshooting, and analysing complex distributed applications

You are very comfortable providing input to project plans and recommending process improvements

You have experience monitoring progress of projects and providing regular status reports to management team

You want to evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.

You have worked within onsite/offshore resourcing model

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Champions for and drives functional requirements and SLAs

Helps in coordinating and allocating work across the Quality Engineering team's portfolio

Communicates Quality engineering approaches, framework building for UI/Mainframe or API flow, results, issues, and risks to management at regular intervals and/or a need basis.

Creates comprehensive test plans from Stakeholder's requirements.

Creates and contributes to framework enhancements to support application teams with automation of UI, Mainframe or API workflow.

Validates and ensures Quality testing scripts are robust and maintainable.

Participates, coordinates, and leads peer review sessions.

Detects and investigates functional scope of applications, reusability, and optimize automation scripts using experience and tools. Works with various technology teams to remediate.

Creates comprehensive and actionable Quality testing reports.

Partners with IT and Non-IT teams.

Participates in SCRUM meetings and other project meetings.

Plays a key role in mentoring, training, and bridging the specific skill gaps across the Quality Engineering domain.
