Team Overview:

Manages a small to medium-sized team of project managers who are the primary contact for internal clients and groups within the organization for projects that are small to medium in scale. Team is responsible for end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Serves as a liaison between internal clients and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of small to medium scale projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Manages communication with the business at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues. Manages client expectations and ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies.
  • Proactively manages a small to medium-sized team of project managers. Provides guidance on business and technical subject matter to associates.
  • Manages projects via creation and maintenance of project plans, work breakdown structures, schedule effort estimation and tracking. Conducts status meetings and facilitates issues resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Recommends enhancements to project management tools/techniques and company methodologies.
  • Manages a small to medium-sized project management team.
  • Responsible for the achievement of team goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 0-1 years in management preferred. Project Management experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.
