The Digital Assets technology team is looking for a motivated, skilled Engineer to be part of our Engineering team focusing on standing up new Digital Assets capabilities, building Integration with other FinTech partners as well deploying on a multi cloud infrastructure.

What We Need
  • Drive the design and development of scalable, high performing and robust applications.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
  • Improve our software delivery capabilities via automation and repeatability.
  • Help the tech management team shape best practices for developing, sharing and continuously improving our software platform.
  • Identifying issues to teams that they might overlook, such as scalability, performance, or security.
  • Consult and collaborate with internal business partners to construct and execute on our service delivery strategy and ensure compliance with the firm's delivery and regulatory standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as software developer or engineer with hands on design and coding experience
  • Java and Core basics experience
  • Willingness and ability to work in a polyglot platform Java, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Expertise in test driven and behaviour driven development
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of orchestration of microservices in an elastic container-based cloud environment
  • Experience in the financial services sector a plus.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required with experience in software development required.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Job holder must have understanding interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans.
  • Candidates must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with developing and supporting front end and backend development required.
  • Job holder must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
