Lead Analyst, Physical Security

Overview

The Access Control Analyst position will also act as a backup on several functions of the specialist and vice versa.

  • Troubleshoot and request service/work with technicians for hardware problems for the
  • ccure system and cameras for the Pgh campus as well as remote sites in our region.
  • Complete day to day access control functions (completing forms, badge requests as needed, small access control projects and answering emails and troubleshooting badge issues)
  • Run reports on ccure system as needed. Manage/assign twice yearly verification report process for clearance levels.
  • Manage content on Building access page for access control information
  • Submitting Comit ID and email address requests for new AUS officers for the Pgh offices.
  • Assisting with daily access control tasks and troubleshooting
  • Manage and complete local projects as needed (card reader installs, testing, troubleshooting-for small jobs that are not completed by QCIC)
  • Troubleshoot daily access control issues and problems in conjunction with/in the assistance of the US access control teams.
  • Build/rename/reconfigure doors or other hardware on ccure as requested by various RSMs.
  • Continue to work with the ServiceNow tech team on enhancements to the ServiceNow badge form on an ongoing basis to include submitting requests for changes, testing changes, and testing production during the scheduled production release(to include off hours testing)
  • Troubleshoot and request service/work with technicians for hardware problems for the ccure and Victor camera systems for the Pgh campus as well as remote sites in our region.
  • Work with RSMs to complete new projects (gather staff lists, create clearance levels, add doors, assign clearances). Give recommendations on access control set up as needed.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:
    • 2 year degree preferred, or in lieu of degree, 3-5 years' experience in access control related field.
    • Experience with access control systems required (ccure 9000 preferred).
    • Experience with CCTV video systems preferred.
    • Any relevant certifications in access control/operating systems in lieu of degree will also be considered.
    • Excellent customer service/communication skills.
    • Relevant security experience/supervisory experience including contract security staff preferred.
    • Project management experience is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
