Overview
The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Lead Analyst, Data Management and Quantitative Analysis in San Francisco, CA to work with internal and external datasets and client reference data and provide analysis in developing statistical, financial and/or econometric models for analyzing asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure or other sophisticated concepts. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems Management, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Programming and coding with technologies including Python or R; Communicating with End-users, customers, and clients; Handling and analyzing large datasets; Utilizing analytical skills in Microsoft Excel - Solver, Simulations, Pivots, and Macros; Performing project management; and preparing analyses and reports for C-suite executives and senior leadership. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in a stated field of study and three (3) years of experience in the stated skills. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master's degree experience. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Salary range: $81,328 - $170,000 per year.
