We're seeking a future team member for the role of GROUP MANAGER, DATA MANAGEMENT & QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS to join our Enterprise Sourcing Office - Data & Analytics team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID/REMOTE.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Establish and govern an ESO data governance framework and implementation roadmap including priorities for development of data catalogue, data lineage, cross-functional change management process with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of ESO data and information assets in alignment with corporate data office policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for business ownership and stewardship of ESO data and information assets
  • Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas, corporate data office, and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for protecting data are clearly defined, communicated, and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning
  • Develop & maintain inventory of the ESO data map, including authoritative systems and respective owners, stewards and down/upstream systems
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements for ESO in alignment with corporate data office
  • Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
  • Assist Business and Functional areas and IT business and operations functions, to achieve their objectives; resolve issues escalated from Business and Functional areas data governance representatives
  • Provide progress reports to ESO Leadership and oversee periodic updates to the ESO Data Governance Roadmap
  • Coordinate external data sources to eliminate redundancy and streamline the expense related to those services
  • Identify new business opportunities pertaining to the use of data and information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness / represent data as a strategic business asset
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management, Data Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with large-scale data program management and oversight, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industry
  • Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
  • Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
  • Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
  • Internally and externally recognized subject matter expert that influence the way things are done
  • Independent, organized, self-motivated, team player
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and balance on a variety of activities requiring varying skill levels concurrently with focus on timely delivery
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal leadership skills
  • Adaptable to highly evolving environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Management and Leadership of junior team members
