Overview
The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Group Manager, Application Development in Woodland Park, NJ, to be responsible for all phases of the systems development and implementation process. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Working with the vulnerability, end of life, access management and security risks of the application, remediating them by implementing compliant controls; Performing delivery application releases within budget and on-time completion of analysis, design, development, and testing of the critical Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) applications; Developing enterprise financial applications using Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix scripting, C, C++, AIX; Preparing project plans, estimating the cost of the project leveraging Function Point Analysis and story point estimation, and tracking budget; Improving stability of applications by analyzing underlying problems leveraging 'Information Technology Infrastructure Library' ITIL framework to standardize the selection, planning, delivery, maintenance, and overall lifecycle of financial applications and implementing 'follow the sun' model for continuous support across different time zones; Participating in internal and external audits; and Implementing industry best practices and automating development life cycle process by adopting 'Continuous Integration and Continuous Development' CI/CD framework for faster delivery to market.
