The Global Market Consultant provides dedicated global market support to some of the firm's high profile global custody clients as they enter and operate in markets globally. This role is based in Singapore (Hybrid). Among its major responsibilities, the Global Market Consultant:
  • Is assigned to high profile custody clients with a focus on global markets, functioning as a client's single point of contact for all global market information.
  • Proactive support of the client's investment strategy in global markets through regular, customised communication of key market developments and changes.
  • Continual development of a deep knowledge of international market practices to support client entry into key markets.
  • Build strong relationships with the internal Markets Management team to identify and address local market/product gaps based on client demand and market norms.
  • Act as a client advocate with local market stakeholders to influence change on upcoming market developments.
  • Analyse and assess the impact of potential market changes on our services and client operating models, ensuring a timely solution is executed.
  • Support local engagement by our clients with local sub-custodians, depositories or regulators where appropriate.
  • Identify and share competitive intel to internal teams to drive product enhancement.
  • Understands the competitive global custody landscape and strives to excel against our industry peers.
  • Actively contributes to the RFP process with new prospects and represents Global Network Management in client due diligence meetings, as required.
  • Drive client education forums across a range of market related topics.
  • Build a Thought Leadership agenda internally & externally to improve our market position on international assets.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience ( advanced / graduate degree is preferred) .
  • 7-12 years of total work experience preferred, preferably financial services industry experience in client services, Network Management, Product Management, or account management.
  • Experience in custody products and markets.
  • Experience dealing directly with external clients and driven to establish strong and successful relationships with client contacts.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, comfortable delivering client presentations.
