We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. This role is located in Chennai/Pune - HYBRID

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Candidate will be responsible for DRM Hierarchies, MAQ Expenses and CPP Manager Modules. As a member of the team, candidate will work closely with the DRM team to keep track and maintain the DRM hierarchies within CPP, candidate will be doing analysis of hierarchy changes and notify the team of the dollar impact of each change to LoB leads in CPP. Candidate will be working closely with the MAQ team to get the monthly Expenses for CPP, candidate will be responsible for the management and validation of monthly LoB wise expense data and do a RCA of any discrepancies in Expense. Candidate will also be responsible for Management of the CPP manager tool and increase users for the tool. As a member of the CPP Manager Admin/Core team candidate will be responsible for framing requirements that reduce the manual efforts in CPP, implement the functionality and test and make it production ready and promote the usability of CPP manager not only within CPP but outside of CPP to other Finance COE teams. Candidate ideally should have a strong finance background with P&L experience and product and client profitability knowledge, exceptional analytical capabilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Experience with modeling tools such as SAS CPM, Hadoop/Spark, Oracle SQL along with knowledge on BI reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau etc is a plus but not required.

Impact of work is felt beyond immediate team and contributes to the achievement of functional goals. Compiles financial information, conducts sophisticated analysis as needed, and presents findings and business implications to senior leadership. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 0-3 years of total work experience in finance is preferred.
  • Effectively interact with Business Partners, DRM team, MAQ team, CPP team, and technology partners to understand the business needs and design solutions to address them.
  • Assist with managing project tasks, timeline, risks and issues.
  • Help with evaluation of new data sources, and subsequent acquisition & delivery of that data.
  • Provide automation to improve the speed of delivery across the program
  • Perform data quality checks on various source data to make sure they meet the data requirements
  • Manage associated responsibilities assigned with CPP Production timeline
  • Support other initiatives to meet common objectives of CPP
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • 2-5 years of financial experience
  • Analytical - Ability to easily dive into very arcane details on profitability model
  • Superb communication skills - Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Self-starter - Should drive change on their own with minimal direction needed
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Confident and calm demeanor with ability to perform under pressure and handle difficult situations
  • Working knowledge of underlying databases (Hadoop/ Spark, Oracle SQL) is a plus
  • Knowledge on BI reporting tool like Microsoft Power BI is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
