This is a full-time internship position for our Summer rotation, from June 3, 2024 through August 16, 2024 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

The internship with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA is designed to give an insight into the various aspects of Finance at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and offers the exciting opportunity to work in a corporate environment on various skills such as data analysis, organizational skills, and project work. This role will support the Finance team with analysis, reporting, budgeting, and other finance related areas as well as ad-hoc topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close collaboration with various Rolls-Royce departments to ensure all costs are captured for accurate financial reporting at month-end
  • Prepare and update a monthly fixed costs report by department to provide the status of actuals versus budget and analyze the variances
  • Lead and follow up with respective teams on the timely and accurately update of weekly KPI report
  • Manage Second Price Level report and keep track of Lease and Loan share development
  • Support Financial Services with the preparation of residual value load files
  • Analyze changes to bill rates and recommend customer interest rates based on findings
  • Prepare updated interest rate grid for publishing a bulletin to all Rolls-Royce dealers
  • Gain knowledge on the purchase to pay process and ensure that all requests adhere to the BMW Group purchase policy
  • Collaborate with the sales operations teams to ensure all dealers submit the necessary documentation for eligible sales incentive programs
  • Support regional general managers with investigating and processing outstanding dealer payments
  • Work extensively in various modules within SAP

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $25.30.
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $32.20.

The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application
  • Field of study: Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or other related fields
  • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
  • Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical capabilities
