How will your role help us transform hope into reality?

Blueprint Medicines International team is looking for a talented commercial team member to lead Commercial Operations and Launch Readiness related to AYVAKYT (avapritinib) in Systemic Mastocytosis (SM). This role will interface with cross-functional teams at International HQ, country, distributor- managed markets, and US- based commercial leadership level.

Individual's time will be dedicated to driving the Commercial Operations function, especially business analytics and reporting, and leading a team that supports a variety of marketing, sales, and data workstreams to drive analytics, insights, product expansion, and operational excellence.

This role also acts as the voice of International in several leadership forums, representing international brand performance across geographies and metrics.

The position will report to the VP, Head of Commercial for International and is a full-time employment role.

What will you do?
  • Direct the business analytics and forecasting function in collaboration with the International and country leads
  • Drive the development of performance KPIs, establishing systems to monitor and report business performance against these metrics regularly
  • Lead the formulation of the brand insight generation strategy, working closely with international marketing to identify insight gaps and create action plans
  • Devise a competitive intelligence strategy, including gathering insights from frontline teams
  • Develop and manage pan-EU commercial sales force effectiveness metrics, providing International HQ support for field operations and executing incentive compensation plans
  • Ensure full ownership and optimization of commercial operations infrastructure, including CRM and Veeva integrated marketing and communications, to facilitate omnichannel execution
  • Contribute to the cross-functional brand planning at an international level
  • Must be flexible to travel within EU
What minimum qualifications do we require?
  • BA/BS degree required. Advanced degree, MBA, or other equivalent experience a plus
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the EU biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including direct involvement in commercial operations, marketing, sales, or market development activities
  • Experience in hematology oncology, rare disease, or allergy/immunology a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of complex project management and effective vendor management
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to simplify complex tasks or data
  • Ability to strategically prioritize and problem solve
  • Willingness to flex between tactical and strategic tasks
  • Commitment to succeeding with integrity
  • Ability to plan and nimbly adapt in a dynamic business environment
