About this role
We are seeking a high-performing Vice President to join our Hong Kong Wealth team. This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with local retail banks, universal banks and insurance linked platforms in Hong Kong. The role is pivotal in driving commercial outcomes, deepening client engagement, and delivering BlackRock's full suite of investment capabilities to the market. Reporting to the Head of Hong Kong Wealth, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and a strong executor, with a deep understanding of the wealth management landscape in Hong Kong and the broader region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow relationships with local retail banks, universal banks and insurance linked platforms in Hong Kong, identifying new business opportunities and deepening strategic partnerships.
- Drive sales across BlackRock's platform, including mutual funds, alternatives, and bespoke investment solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and aligning BlackRock's capabilities to deliver value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated client solutions and campaigns.
- Represent BlackRock at industry events, conferences and client forums to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Partner with regional teams to execute cross-border initiatives and business plans.
- Provide timely and accurate product information, performance updates, and market insights to clients.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the annual business plan, including setting and achieving sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree holder with minimum 7 years of experience in investment product distribution or relationship management, preferably within a multi-product asset management or wealth management firm.
- Proven track record in managing and growing relationships with distributors in Hong Kong.
- Strong knowledge of investment products including mutual funds and alternatives
- Deep understanding of the Hong Kong and regional wealth management landscape.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global organization.
- Passion for financial markets and a commitment to continuous learning.
