Key responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic VP with a focus on Operational Excellence and Vendor Management. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy and data driven individual who has a track record of leading and doing the day to day operations.

  • Vendor Management:
    • Develop and implement policies for vendor management, including performance tracking and reporting.
    • Ensure on time high quality data delivery with a single pane of glass for data pipeline observability and support
    • Partner cross-functionally to enhance existing data sets and vendor operations, eliminating manual inputs and ensuring high quality, and onboarding new data sets
    • Lead change while ensuring daily operational excellence, quality, and control
  • Ops Excellence:
    • Develop, monitor, and manage capacity management for multiple vendors
    • Perform monthly variance analysis on KPI and provide insights to internal stakeholders
    • Collaborate with leaders to identify efficiency opportunities on new and existing datasets
    • Support senior management in strategic decision-making with accurate financial/operational data and projections.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner across different teams to manage and improve cross-functional processes related to vendor workflow and onboarding/offboarding
    • Communicate insights and vendor performance data to senior management.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and lead initiatives independently
  • Ability to operate and monitor large data sets through the data lifecycle, including the tooling and observability required to be ensure data quality and control at scale
  • Practical and detailed oriented operations leader
  • Unimpeachable ethical standards
  • Ability to navigate a large, highly matrixed organization
  • Nice to haves: Knowledge of cloud-based databases/warehousing (Snowflake) SQL, Python, and Business Intelligence tools
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics or Data Analytics
