Role Overview
The Retail Insurance Analyst supports the Relationship Management team in delivering a seamless client experience across investment strategy, servicing, and business development. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to build a career in institutional relationship management with a focus on insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior Relationship Managers in executing account plans and servicing insurance clients.
- Support Senior Relationship Managers with ongoing business development, client service, and communication with clients and prospects.
- Coordinate day-to-day delivery of BlackRock's investment and advisory services, including:
- Client reporting and portfolio reviews
- Ad hoc data and strategy requests
- Compliance monitoring and documentation
- Support business development efforts by:
- Preparing pitch materials, RFPs, and client engagement decks
- Tracking pipeline activity and updating CRM systems
- Collaborating with internal teams on onboarding and implementation
- Develop a strong understanding of insurance company dynamics, including:
- Product structures and distribution models
- Regulatory and accounting frameworks
- Strategic priorities and sensitivities
- Support business development team on product campaign management and tracking with a detailed focus on pipeline organization on BlackRock's CRM
- Gather critical data to quickly respond orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholder requests.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders across FIG, Retirement, Legal, and Client Experience teams to ensure coordinated client delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Has or is willing to obtain the Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated interest in institutional relationship management and insurance markets.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish credibility with key stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach to a team-based sales and service model.
