Aladdin Engineering team is actively seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining a robust calculation engine that powers our financial products. You will work with a talented team of engineers, leveraging modern technologies such as .NET Core, Python, React, Microservices, and Kubernetes to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Preqin, a part of BlackRock, is a leading software provider of end-to-end solutions dedicated to the Private Markets Investments industry. Technologies and Concepts involved:
- .NET Core, Python
- AWS

- PostgreSQL/NOSQL (SQL Alchemy/Entity Framework/Mongo DB Elastic search)
- React/TypeScript/Micro front end architecture
Responsibilities of the role and team include:
- Creating new features, from their conception to their deployment in production.
- Every aspect of its SaaS product, including production monitoring and incident resolution on the cloud platform.
- Understanding of the importance and application of information security practices
- Contributing to the improvement of the team methodologies (continuous integration/delivery, automated testing, best practices definition).
- Engaging with a team full of talented open-minded people with a great innovation spirit.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master' degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Organizational Sciences, or related software engineering background.
- 5+ years of experience in .NET or Python development.
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development with modern frameworks using React/Typescript.
- Understanding of OOP best practices and concepts.
- Experience with building and consuming APIs using gRPC or REST.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and development.
- Strong understanding of containerisation and kubernetes deployments using Helm
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to navigate and understand existing codebase.
- Interest in the functional part of the product, any knowledge about the Finance industry will be highly appreciated.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive approach with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications (would be considered as a benefit):
- Experience in the FinTech industry or with financial calculation engines.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
