Associate, Software Engineer
About this role
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience in software development, particularly with .NET and React/TypeScript.
This role is a key addition to our engineering team, contributing to the evolution of eFront Insight Core-BlackRock's flagship Private Markets data and analytics platform. This platform is central to our Data Collection business and plays a vital role in delivering value to our clients.
As part of the Belgrade-based Engineering Team, you will work on both the technical and functional layers of our most innovative products, gaining deep expertise in the rapidly growing Private Markets industry.
Key Technologies & Concepts
- Primary stack: C# / .NET, React, TypeScript
- Cloud & architecture: Microsoft Azure, AKS, microservices, cloud-first applications
Nice-to-have experience:
- Python
- Elasticsearch
- Azure CosmosDB
- Azure Service Bus
- Kubernetes
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features from concept to production deployment
- Own the full lifecycle of our SaaS product, including monitoring and incident resolution
- Continuously improve team practices (CI/CD, automated testing, coding standards)
- Collaborate with a team of open-minded, innovative engineers
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong knowledge of C# and experience with React/TypeScript
- Ability to navigate and understand complex codebases independently
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Curiosity about product functionality; experience in Finance or Private Markets is a plus
- Interest or experience in Generative AI is highly valued
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
