Role Description
China WMC Fixed Income team is looking for an Associate, which will manage non-standard assets investment (specialized in consumer finance) with fully cycle project management. This role will be based in Shanghai and report to Head of Fixed Income.
Responsibilities
- Managing ABS (specialized in consumer finance, supply chain) and non-standard assets investment, and support the launch and management of relevant WMP (Wealth Management Products) Series.
- Conduct internal asset due diligence and collaborate with external third parties to explore and maintain project-related resources.
- Oversee project full-cycle management in alignment with company strategy, including preliminary analysis, project initiation, review and approval, ongoing asset monitoring, and exit of the project.
- Monitor the latest market information, policies/regulations, and market dynamics, tracking industry trends, regulatory policies and products in a timely manner.
- Supporting credit research and investment.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Master's degree in finance, accounting and economics, or relevant majors from a top university, CFA/CPA/FRM qualification will be a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in China asset management industry, with a preference for specialization in consumer finance ABS underwriting and non-standard assets investment.
- Strong accounting and legal background, familiarity with non-standard assets/ABS various underlying assets format, relevant policies and regulations, and a deep understanding of asset management products and asset allocation logic.
- Maintain broad and strong connections with market participants, demonstrating a strong capability in developing new projects.
- Effective communication skills, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to drive comprehensive analysis.
- Hands-on experience in ABS credit research or bond investment will be advantageous.
