The Aladdin Business is comprised of 800+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting our Aladdin clients, sales and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community fully utilizes Aladdin products through engagement and education.

We are seeking a candidate to work within the Aladdin Client Business Group's Accounting Practice supporting the implementation of Aladdin's Performance & Official Accounting capabilities. The individual will work closely with our partner implementation teams and the client acting as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact, providing guidance on best practices and supporting a smooth implementation.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Working with clients with a focus on building relationships with our client's senior leaders (e.g., Chief Financial Officer, Controller, Lead Accountants, Performance Specialists), defining future state business processes, analyzing data sets within Aladdin and client legacy systems, implementing workflows and controls ensuring accuracy.
  • Delivering BlackRock's Official Accounting & Performance capabilities to clients by leading business process reviews, accounting & performance configurations, portfolio initialization, downstream general ledger integration, and monthly accounting & performance workflow implementation
  • Developing project plans with measurable goals, driving consensus internal and client stakeholders to work towards common objectives for implementing Aladdin's performance and accounting capabilities.
  • Developing and applying accounting and performance domain expertise to evaluate requirements and configuring solutions to meet a wide range of reporting needs through business process review sessions. Identifying and implementing methodology improvements to drive scale across projects
  • Shaping the evolution of our implementation methodology by developing a deep understanding of client/industry needs and partnering with development teams to enhance the platform
  • Travel required, including international opportunities
