What We Need 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or 7+ years of directly relevant work experience 
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft based infrastructure (Domain, ADFS, IIS etc.) 
  • Strong Experience with Azure (IaaS, PaaS) and experience with AWS products (EC2, IAM, S3, Route 53, VPCs, CloudWatch, Inspector, Lambda, etc.) is desired
  • Proficiency in monitoring systems like SCOM, Log Analytics, Application Insights 
  • Experience creating automated processes using well-known frameworks such as PowerShell, Chef, Terraform, etc.  
  • Experience safely automating deployments of cloud infrastructure and services. 
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux based environments. 
  • Experience with infrastructure and application management considerations for production systems and networks, including BC/DR, data securityencryption, resource monitoring, patch management, high availability, load balancing, and authentication (Kerberos, NTLM, SAML) 
  • Solid understanding, troubleshooting, and installation of Enterprise Servers (Linux and Windows) and performance tuning of application web stacks (i.e. IIS, etc.) 
  • Networking Knowledge (TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, DNS, Firewall) including AWS is desired 
  • Microsoft SQL knowledge and administration are pertinent and desired 
  • MicroServices using Service Fabric 
  • Experience automating software build, test, and deployment pipelines following agile methodologies. 
  • Experience with PKI, Platforms Dynamics CRM, NAV, Microsoft SharePoint a plus 

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure 
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and infrastructure management tools. 
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability 
  • Provide (act as) 2nd and 3rd level escalation for internal IT/CloudOps teams 
  • Play an integral role in design, test, and implement customs tools/applications that are relevant to the company needs 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers &/or DevOps to fix 
  • Define and maintain infrastructure security, backup, and redundancy strategies. 
  • Write and Maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks to include working with DevOps team 
  • Participate in the design of information and operational IT support systems 
  • Architect and implement improvements for Corporate and Cloud networks 
  • Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including firewall, switches, controllers, & cloud (i.e. AWS, Azure) based platforms 
  • Participate in the design of information and operational IT support systems 
  • Implementing Network Improvement and architect for the Corporate and Cloud 
  • Design and implement Infrastructure as a Code CI\CD pipelines 
  • Collaborate with development teams to define proper monitoring metrics 
  • Design transformation from server-based monitoring approach to proactive application-based monitoring approach
