Make Your Mark:

The Vice President of Enterprise Applications will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, implementation, and support of our suite of business applications. Leading a talented team of business analysts, technical developers, QA specialists, and production support professionals, this executive will ensure our enterprise applications ecosystem-spanning Finance, HR, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience-operates seamlessly and innovatively. With a strong background in Salesforce platforms and a strategic mindset, the VP will guide the organization in making informed tool selection, build vs. buy decisions, and setting priorities that align with our business goals.

You'll Get To:

  • Lead the strategy and execution for the development, deployment, and support of enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage a cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, QA professionals, and support staff to deliver high-quality applications and services.
  • Drive the enterprise architecture planning and implementation, turning technology use into a competitive advantage.
  • Exhibit expertise in Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, Service Cloud, etc., leveraging this knowledge to optimize business operations.
  • Make critical decisions regarding the selection of new tools and technologies, adopting a strategic approach to build vs. buy decisions.
  • Set clear priorities for application development and support initiatives, using data-driven insights to track progress and outcomes.
  • Excel in project management, delivering projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Build strong relationships with internal business teams, facilitating collaboration and ensuring a unified approach to technology implementation and use.
  • Develop and communicate a clear charter and roadmap for enterprise applications that garners buy-in from all stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience overseeing Salesforce architecture & design, including Sales Cloud & Service Cloud
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in a business systems or enterprise applications team
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role managing enterprise applications, preferably with a strong background in Salesforce platform management.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make informed decisions on tool selection, technology investments, and operational priorities.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture and its impact on business efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to use analytics to drive business improvements.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

Salary Range:

USD $261,000.00 - USD $347,000.00

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
