Your Purpose
The fraud strategy team plays a crucial role in safeguarding Bitso users and ensuring the security of fiat and crypto transactions. As part of this team, the Fraud Risk Sr Specialist will focus on mapping, communicating and controlling the mitigation of risks associated with fraud across the organization. This role aims to establish strong alignment with stakeholders and leadership to collaborate with retail and business divisions fraud prevention.

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, business administration or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing risk controls and mitigators;
- Prior experience in financial services risk areas and fraud prevention is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of innovation, creative problem-solving, and delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to embrace change and thrive in an ever-evolving department.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory.
- Currently living in Mexico, Argentina or Colombia.
- Proactively monitor and mitigate fraud risks by implementing robust control mechanisms.
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Business Continuity, Compliance, Legal, and Product.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of retail and business accounts products and services to evaluate fraud risks and propose effective solutions.
