Trainee, Corporate Communications (f/m/d)
About the program:
This 18-month program offers comprising insights in different fields within the Corporate Communications department. The trainee will be located in the Corporate Communications department but with possibilities to gain insights and to participate in specified projects within the business units, other departments (e.g. Marketing, Market Access, Medical etc.) or the international communications team.
In coordination with an assigned mentor, the trainee is accountable for supporting projects and assisting in the daily business of the teams as well as taking over specific projects as owner in close alignment with the manager or with the accountable person outside the Corporate Communications Team. The trainee is responsible for assignments and duties delegated by the manager. He/she will support the team in the planning and execution of all communication initiatives, tactics and projects. The role will also include administrational support for the Corporate Communications team to a certain extend.
What you will do:
Corporate Communications and Social Media
- Support Corporate Communications: Creation of content, support writing texts/press releases etc., align content internally and with agency
- Research and screening for defined topics
- Social Media and Digital: Support and partially take the coordinative lead for defined websites such as biogen.de; Support and coordinate Social Media Activities (editorial schedule), support content creation for SoMe Posts and alignment with team and other departments
Patient Advocacy
- Support PAG-Colleagues to plan and implement and track activities directed to PAGs (Patient Advocacy Groups) and patients, relatives and other stakeholders e.g. in the creation and rollout of disease awareness campaigns

Internal Communication:
- Support Rollout of internal communications content and concepts
- Support and partially take over responsibility for targeted platforms for communication & exchange amongst internal stakeholders (e.g. Biogen Intranet)
- Coordinate and support internal events e.g. townhalls, regular employee meetings etc.
Product PR
- Support colleagues to plan, implement and track activities around product PR with a strong focus on medical media

Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Business or Life-Science
- No prior industry experience needed, but relevant experience as an intern/working student preferred
- Excellent communication/teamwork skills
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Able to act in a confidential manner
- Good interpersonal abilities
- Organized and methodical
- Lanuages: local language (German) + English (Fluent)
- IT literacy: experience with office/oracle-based programs
- Very high motivation to learn and develop
