Sr Materials Handlers perform processing steps and manufacturing support activities in our facilities in Research Triangle Park (RTP). These teams are the backbone of our operations - each person playing a critical role in delivering our therapies to the patients who need them.
What you'll do:
- Required to perform and document daily warehouse operations in a cGMP environment.
- Possess a high level of detail, good documentation practices, and ability to follow procedures as written.
- Receives all GMP items on an electronic inventory system: verifies count, vendor item, number and expiration date against item specification and purchase order prior to printing the bar code label.
- Prepares bills of landings and other shipping documents.
- Interacts with manufacturing to retrieve all relevant information to complete month end closing on the system.
- Creates, allocates and stages material for SLR's to be weighed.
- Receives and delivers incoming packages to recipients across RTP site.
- Pulls GMP requests as needed: Decrementing from inventory control system and charging out to the correct department.
- Pulls and stages material in the warehouse.
- Pulls, packs, and ships finished products to the customer according to applicable SOP's.
- Performs quarterly cycle counts and investigates discrepancies.
- Operates all shipping manifest systems.
- Remains current on DOT and Hazmat regulations.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderly storage conditions in the warehouse

Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (STEM preferred)
- Associate's Degree plus at least 1 years of experience
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus at least 2 years of directly transferrable experience
- Capable of working twelve (12) hour shifts in a predetermined schedule rotation
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Strong desire to learn and grow quickly - demonstrated experience employing learning agility
- Adaptable to changing needs and demands, comfortable navigating a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work as a part of a team

The base compensation range for this role is: $20.67-$26.92
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
