About This Role

The Senior Manager, Operational Reporting and Analytics (OpRA) will be responsible for the design development and ongoing support of the reporting infrastructure(s) to support the Safety and Benefit Risks (SABR) and Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) teams in their transition to Veeva. This role will be looked upon to provide expertise and guidance to the OpRA team on best practices for data integrations using the latest database software and related technologies (Snowflake). This position reports to the Director of TADI Operational Reporting and Analytics. (TADI = Technology, Analytics, Data, and Insights)

What You'll Do

  • Provide expertise supporting reporting environment move to Snowflake architecture (including database design and build, reports/analyses migration and development, and validation strategy).
  • Develop strong customer relationships with the Regulatory and Submission teams to understand their business processes and gaps.
  • Identify opportunities to bridge system gaps and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and partnership with IT on large scale software implementations supporting Regulatory teams.
  • Provide best practices across technology platforms to ensure a single TADI approach for system utilization, application/solution development, reporting and visualizations.
  • Identify and provide best implementation practices for new technologies (e.g., Oracle APEX, ETL Tools, Snowflake).
  • Understand and optimize use of current technology to identify and solve complex business problems (e.g., data collection tools using low code development, integration across multiple platforms, etc.).

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in data warehouse design using Oracle or Snowflake is required.
  • Expert database programming knowledge with experience designing and developing complex data structures to support business reporting needs is required.
  • Robust experience with Snowflake and Oracle databases is required.
  • Proven experience in support of large software migrations is required.
  • Experience developing PowerBI dashboards is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Regulatory Tracking, Submission, and Publishing tools (e.g., Veeva, Lorenz, ArisG).
  • Application development experience using Oracle APEX.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (including Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, LLM, NLP) and business/process implications.
  • Ability to mentor less experienced team members.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $138,000.00-$185,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
