About This Role:

As the Senior Manager in Commercial Data Management, you will be a pivotal part of the Global Commercial Markets IT team, where your expertise in data modeling and management will shine. You will craft conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring the integrity and consistency of our data assets. Your role will be central to collaborating with business stakeholders across Global Markets, Cross-Functional IT Teams, and Market Access and Reimbursement Teams. You will design and maintain robust commercial data models that drive business insights and decision-making. In this role, you will manage data within our warehouse, drawing from systems like Veeva CRM and Snowflake, optimizing ETL/ELT processes. Your leadership in implementing and managing the data catalog will empower stakeholders by facilitating data discovery and understanding. This role is crucial in supporting data governance initiatives and ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations, thus enhancing our commercial data's overall value and accessibility.

What You'll Do:

  • Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data consistency and integrity.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to design commercial data models.
  • Translate business requirements into architecture and star schema data model designs.
  • Manage data within the warehouse from systems such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Align, and Snowflake.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data management within Snowflake.
  • Lead and manage the Commercial Data Team to implement and maintain the data catalog.
  • Maintain and update data catalogs for accurate metadata and data lineage.
  • Facilitate easy access to data assets for users, enhancing data discovery.
  • Support data governance initiatives related to commercial data privacy and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on data catalog usage.
  • Ensure data compliance with GDPR regulations in collaboration with Global Markets.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience.
  • Mandatory experience in data management within Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in dimensional model methodology (star schema).
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial data for a biotech company.
  • Experience working with Veeva CRM, Align, Network, and Open Data sets.
  • Experience with internal and external sales data for commercial purposes.
  • Experience working in global markets-APAC, EU, BIR regions in commercial biotech.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $131,000.00-$175,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
