About This Role
As a Sr. Associate II, Corporate Communications, you will play a pivotal role in implementing an integrated communication strategy across the region, focusing on enhancing corporate reputation and promoting awareness around key therapeutic areas, including Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Alzheimer's disease, and Friedreich Ataxia (FA). Reporting to the LATAM Corporate Affairs Team, you will provide local support to ensure seamless execution of the communication plan. You will actively engage in external media events, press interactions, medical congresses, patient conferences, and other platforms to continue to position Biogen as the leading pharmaceutical company in rare diseases.

What You'll Do
- Implement the integrated communication strategy for corporate reputation and therapeutic areas across the region.
- Execute internal communication plans led by the LATAM Corporate Affairs Team.
- Serve as a local liaison to support communication initiatives across the region.
- Coordinate and participate in external events, including medical congresses and patient conferences, to reinforce Biogen's leadership in rare diseases.
- Develop and manage content for social media platforms to align with communication objectives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate communication standards and processes while adhering to industry regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within a matrix team to drive communication initiatives forward.
- Foster relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders to address complex issues effectively.
- Monitor and analyze communication efforts to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Support the development of culturally sensitive messaging to engage audiences across the region.
