About This Role:
As a Sr. Analyst for Compliance Monitoring & Operational Support, based in Warsaw, Poland, you will be an integral part of the GBS Compliance Control Tower, working closely with GBS and Corporate Compliance teams. Your primary responsibility will be to manage compliance monitoring and provide operational support for high-risk vendors, ensuring adherence to both internal processes and external guidelines. You'll play a key role in documenting and reporting the results of compliance activities, while also collaborating with compliance officers across various geographies. Your work will contribute significantly to the effective governance of Biogen's compliance program, ensuring that all business activities align with established standards and industry guidelines.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform compliance assessments and due diligence for high-risk vendors.
  • Provide operational support for specific activities in scope.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring for business activities under compliance scope.
  • Assess adherence to Biogen processes, SOPs, policies, and industry guidelines.
  • Document results and report findings on a regular basis.
  • Network effectively with compliance officers and governance officers from various geographies.
  • Monitor and report KPIs and metrics for compliance activities.
  • Provide service-oriented support in interactions with stakeholders.
  • Execute specialized operational support activities as required.
  • Collaborate on governance of compliance processes and support continuous improvement.
  • Track KPIs and metrics to provide insights and monitor ongoing volume.
  • Report and analyze root cause of incidents related to monitoring.

Who You Are:
You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for upholding compliance standards. Your ability to work independently, while effectively collaborating with a diverse range of teams, sets you apart. You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with excellent time management skills. Your strong analytical skills enable you to interpret both internal and external requirements, assessing their impact on business processes. You possess a natural ability to communicate clearly and confidently, ensuring decisions are well understood by stakeholders. Your organizational skills and fluency in English, along with another language, complement your proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or any other relevant education.
  • Fluent English and at least one other language.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance monitoring role or similar, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Compliance Program requirements or experience in business governance roles (i.e., Audit, GxP).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across different geographies and functions.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret requirements and assess business impact.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with continuous improvement processes.
  • Familiarity with compliance program governance.
  • Ability to track and analyze KPIs and metrics effectively.

Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
