About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Construction Management Lead to oversee site contractors for engineering, facilities, maintenance, and small capital projects. Incumbent will ensure compliance with safety procedures, oversee contractor training programs, manage daily task planning including the review and approval of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and work permits. The Site Construction Manager will be responsible for work oversight including verification of quality and cleanroom standards are met and ensuring in/out of service procedures are followed. Additional responsibilities include leading small capital projects related to facility infrastructure and site works, maintaining the site’s small capital project portfolio, coordinating project funding requests with the site leadership team (SLT), and review cash flow with Project Managers (PMs) and the capital management team.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and direct site contractors including capital project work, maintenance activities and engineering projects.
  • Ensure proper site controls are in place including safety (JHA, work permits) and quality (GCC, In/Out of Service).
  • Liaise with global project management for site work.
  • Oversee small project management related to facility, infrastructure and site works.
  • Manage budget of small capital projects including intake of project requests, forecasting, capital appropriation and coordination of project status with site PMs.
  • Conduct investigations of safety incidents related to construction projects and site maintenance activities from contracted resources.
  • Maintain adherence with GMP and GEP practices including removal and return to service, verification of change controls, and verification that project turn-over requirements have been met for global and site projects.

Who You Are

You are an experienced construction manager with a proven ability to confidently direct contractors and service providers, ensuring tasks are planned, executed, and completed to the highest quality standards. Your passion for safety drives you to speak up whenever you identify potential hazards, even beyond your immediate area of responsibility. You possess a deep understanding of construction practices including rigging, site preparation, cleanroom construction, and infrastructure needs.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • BS degree with 4+ years or 8+ years with associates degree
  • Project, construction and maintenance experience for large production sites
  • Ability to work under short timelines within a manufacturing environment.
  • Practical knowledge and application of working in a GMP environment.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and instrumentation datasheets/schematics. 
  • Strong ability to manage costs, labor and projects while maintaining robust uptime and target completion dates.
  • Strong multi-tasking and decision-making ability with subordinates, peers, and senior management
  • Applies job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is $104,000 - $139,000. Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
